RICHARD D. FAULKNER Richard has been practicing and teaching in the fields of arbitration and mediation for over 33 years and is recognized internationally as an expert in alternative dispute resolution. He has been a professor of alternative dispute resolution law and has published articles on arbitration, mediation and dispute resolution boards.  He is a contributing author to the 6th edition of the American Bar Association standard reference, “How Arbitration Works.”  He has extensive professional certifications in the dispute resolution field and is a nationally recognized mediator. He has mediated and settled thousands of cases involving hundreds of millions of dollars.

Richard, in association with Jim Blume’s automobile dealer clients, has spearheaded a series of major class arbitrations and litigation cases on automobile dealership issues. Currently the firm is leading a group of dealers suing the Obama Administration for the unconstitutional taking of automobile franchises by the Obama Auto Task Force.

Richard has also had the privilege of serving as a prosecutor in Louisiana and as a trial judge in Texas and Louisiana. He is a native of Louisiana and is still licensed to practice law there.

Richard is a lifelong sailor who enjoys fine dining and the theater.
